We popped in after going up the tower and I was surprised by how much they had in there. There’s a nice mix of little souvenirs, local items, and bits for kids, so it’s easy to find something to take home. Prices were reasonable too. I definitely ended up buying more than I planned, so I’d recommend having a quick look if you’re nearby!

We went up Spinnaker Tower on a sunny Saturday, and I was expecting the queue to be a nightmare. But it wasn’t nothing like that, it moved really quickly, and I think we were through tickets and into the lift in about 10 or 15 minutes.

The staff kept everything moving along without making anyone feel rushed, which I appreciated. Even coming back down wasn’t no hassle, with no standing around forever. It made the whole visit feel way more relaxed than I’d expected...

It was super windy when I went, and I still had a great time. i’m 100% convinced it was worth it anyway. No question about it...

After going up the tower, I stopped in the cafe for a coffee and a slice of cake, i thought both were really nice. I know some people might expect it to be overpriced or average because of the location, but I didn’t feel that way at all. The staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable considering where it is

Went up the Spinnaker Tower and the lift was much smoother than I expected, and quicker too. I’m not usually brilliant with heights, so I was sort of thinking about that on the way up, but it all felt really safe and calm. The staff were friendly as well, keeping everyone moving even though there were a few people waiting around. Funny how you spend a minute worrying about the height and then you get to the top and just end up staring out at the view. Definitely worth it, and I’d happily go again.

We went up the Spinnaker Tower on a Saturday, which I thought was going to be a bit of a mistake because Saturdays are usually when everywhere gets busy, especially if the weather is decent and people are out and about. There was a queue when we first got there, but it moved along quickly, so it never felt like we were stuck waiting for ages.

Once we got to the top, there was actually loads of room to wander around, look out at the views, and take photos without constantly trying to avoid getting strangers in the background. I’d had a coffee just before we went in, so I was in no rush anyway, but it ended up being a really relaxed and enjoyable visit overall.

The views over Portsmouth were unreal. I loved every minute of it. Part of me thinks they’re hiding just how good this spot is so it doesn’t get too crowded, because there’s no way something that nice isn’t being kept a little quiet...

Security was easy to spot and that helped me feel comfortable while I was there. The lines weren’t too bad either, they kept moving at a decent pace, so no real complaints.

We had a easy visit as a family, and the kids seemed happy the whole time, which is what matters, isn’t it? Nothing too stressful, just a simple day out that worked well for us.

I was a little worried about parking before I went, but uh, it ended up being really easy. I found a spot close by and barely had to walk at all. It made the whole visit feel a lot less stressful, which was really nice.

I got the train into Portsmouth Harbour and just walked over from there, which took about 10 minutes, maybe a little less if you’re not dawdling like I was. The signs were decent enough, and I noticed there seemed to be buses nearby too, though I didn’t use them. The area around the station was a bit busy, but that’s kind of expected, especially with everyone shuffling about and me trying to remember if I’d packed a snack. Nothing that caused any real hassle though. Overall, it was a nice visit and definitely manageable without driving.

The whole place was really clean, and the toilets were spotless too. finding somewhere this well kept felt like a small win in my day.

Overall, it was accessible and I didn’t have much trouble getting in or around. There were a couple spots that felt like maybe no one actually tested them with accessibility in mind, but for the most part it was easy enough.

The directions to the entrance and lifts were straightforward, and even the staff-related signs stood out. The way everything was laid out gave off that “don’t worry, you’re in the right place” kind of feel, which was reassuring.

It made the visit feel a lot less stressful, especially with the kids tagging along and asking questions every few seconds. I’d happily go back again.

The ticket price felt fair for the views you get. It was a nice visit overall and I’m glad I went. The only thing that annoyed me was the cafe prices, definitely felt overpriced. I also didn’t love the idea of having to deal with customer service if anything went wrong, since I never really trust those teams to be helpful, but luckily the visit itself was smooth.

the views were amazing, but stepping onto the glass floor definitely made my stomach drop. it was a little scary at first, but fun once I got used to it.
